Hello there, I am Utah from the Europe-Chimaera Roleplayers Association. At the end of this month we're going to be running a big trade fair event on our server, Jawa Haggleday, at the Jawa Trade Outpost on Tatooine. This will be the first event that our association has done and so its pretty important to us. In the coming weeks you'll probably start seeing us advertising it (we got a big advertising Campaign planned Very Happy ).
At the event we're going to have player crafters setting up at the stalls selling off their wares, doing a bit of trading and generally getting together some new contacts from those that attend. With this event we're trying to close the RPer/NonRPer divide and so everyone is welcome, so long as everyone is respectful to those who DO RP.
The background for the event is that each year the Jawa Clans of Tatooine come together to trade, talk and settle their differences. For decades this has been a Jawa only event, but in recent years the more culturally aware Clans that often interact with outsiders and other species have become the dominant Clans. The result of this is that the Jawa Clans have opened up Haggleday to anyone who wants to attend.
There are 3 primary Jawa Clans that will be attending Haggleday, The Kiulyak, The Ton Ton and the Bopom Kova. This is where you come in.
What we are looking for is as many people to play as Jawa for our event and play as a member of one of the clans. This will be a 3 hour event on Sunday 28th August, we need people to create a Jawa on our server for the duration of the event and undertake a number of 'tasks'.
Throughout the event you will be expected to stay in role 100%. No OOCing will be permitted, this is our number one rule, even ((OOC Brackets)) is not allowed at the event from our Jawa as it sets a bad RP precedent and makes us look bad. There will be a number of guidelines on how as Jawa you should act, each Clan has a different disposition eg. the Kiluyak are elitist and hate outsiders, whereas the Bopom Kova are more friendly and welcoming to them. Details as to the full requirements of the event will be given closer to the date to those who are on the 'definite' list.
The Jawa will be responsible for not only buying and selling loot and items (generic stuff, they wont be out to buy great items, just buy and sell junk to those who just want to RP) and run a few events. The Kiluyak Clan will be hosting a lottery for an AV-21, the Ton Ton will have 'Haggleday Hats' to hand out, but all three Clans will be involved in a Jawa Theme Park that we have set up. The attendees of the event will have the chance to run a number of missions for the different clans, getting them items that they need at the Haggleday, forcing the players to RP and interact with each other and the other clans. This will be one of the primary focus's of the Jawa for this event.

We are looking for some dedicated RPers who are keen to help us and get involved with this ECRA event as part of the 'Roleplayer Exchange Program' that we are trying to set up. We want this to be as professionally looking as possible, and fun for everyone involved (attendees AND those who choose to play as Jawa!).
