I just want to thank everyone who made it to the casino last night. It was a great success...sorry I wasn't there until the end, but Comcast apparently decided I needed to go to bed because my connection died around 11:15.
Thank you all!

Thanks to everyone! Here's a short run down of in-character events for anyone who'd like to take note of them or investigate further.
--The casino was redecorated and had a grand re-opening (duh).
--There were slots, dice, and new bookie.
--Dwilah organized a speeder race for six contestants. Vreese, Toront/Isleh, Oeree, Ka'eri, and Oroho was the placing and they won a large cash prize for the first race and the bookie paid out vouchers.
--Krusshyk and Zannon both have not been seen in awhile IC, they both made appearances last night at the casino.
--TTF broke out into in-fighting at the casino in the slots room, what happened was not clear (and casino staff would like to thank everyone involved for their continued RP during this confusing scene).
--The casino closed for cleaning around midnight CST.
Feel free to add your own IC events that happened so we all know a little something...because this was, of course, just what I caught.

I had a grand time! And whatever happened during the TTF "explosion", it was as beautiful as fireworks. LOL
The redecoration seemed to be about perfect! It "controlled" the flow of people and made RP more commanding. One could step out of the center and relax, then step back in and play. There were dark corners and bright spots. Very Nice! And we workers could see a lot more of what was going on...thank you!
It was so much easier to stay in character.
It looked like the racing was a big hit...and that there is a demand for more. I have two observations: 1. The race seemed to be too short because we had a number of people asking if it was over - in a disappointed tone, and 2. We couldn't see it. I intend to get on the fire heights for the next race. 8-)

The race course will change for each race--next time we'll try to mark out "safe" viewing spots for each one. Hard to view without camera droids, eh? ;)
