day 10 of post lightning computer problems and I'm still waiting on the computer company to fix my shit. I've played Age of Wonders now for 10 streight days and have earned the official rank of Grand Master of Builder Guild sapping. I pop onto vent sometimes for people to ask me "Is your computer fixed yet?" to my reply of "Do you see me ingame?". I've watched every DVD I own about 10 times now...and spent lastnight trying to figure out how many times you can watch RoTK collecters edition before you just cant stand to hear Gollums voice anymore. At this point, I have him classified almost there with Jar Jar (sad isnt it?).
So to make a long story short...shoot me now and get it over with.
Has life ever been so dull?
I feel your pain, I had to move back to my parents house in May. They live in such an akward place that internet is nonexsitant. We can drive to the Capital building (where we work) in 10minutes but still don't get internet or cable. We had been trying even agreed to pay a ridiculous amount of money but still nothing. so all summer long I've been unable to do anything. I can only get on here from work. After this friday my job is over and then i'll be back to nothing until the next thursday when i move into my crappy little dorm. of course its made less crappy by the internet connection. It sucks to be an internet or game junkie and then lose it all at once. a horrible withdrawl.

My first 10 days without my machine were very similar. I even went old school for the first 2 weeks with my old standby 300 MHz Gateway and 100 MHz AST. After replaying Jedi Academy (darkside this time, just to see), then every Star Trek space combat sim I ever bought, I figured my talented comp-tech/programmer pals would have my main unit whipped back into shape in those 10-14 days...Novall wrote:day 10 of post lightning computer problems and I'm still waiting on the computer company to fix my shit. That was about 3 weeks ago.
Onto my XBox console which had been in danger of collapsing under several accumulated layers of dust. Great stuff, but Sam Fisher and Tommy Vercetti ain't no Keer Tregga. Got bored.
Now I'm really desperate. Onto my "2 Do List" last dated June 27th, 2003 (nah, not really, but it felt that way). And I have to say that it felt pretty good to get my faction level with American Express cool like Keer's CorSec points.
Wrap that all up with a hefty work load, the odd project around the house, and catching up with a bunch of local ex-Gorathians, I managed to keep busy. Still, I gotta get re-wired. Been off-line for too long. The "Amex Flex" is warming up.
