Well I didn't want to just die! I debated whether I would come back. New baby. Going off maternity leave here in a little while. But the bug got me, and that bug was you all! Heck, Januiss even made this super sweet little video with pictures taken in the game set to music. I missed the talking, drama and all with you. I still don't know how available I'll really be. Weekdays it's still crazy between feeding and cleaning and eating and napping. :lol:
So anyway fire up the install! And then - after leaving the computer on the line all night to download everything - I'm like so lost. I can't remember crap! CTRL-H? damn that help is still worthless... CTRL-P? yeah yeah, that's it... CTRL-C? ok, sure. Ah, CTRL-E... WOW! This is like over a hundred e-mails! (but boy am I happy for the auto transfer of funds from my bank account to keep my houses running)
Then there's the message: I need to restat myself...choose where I want my skill points to go...and by the way, I don't have enough strength to even get up and walk! I'M PARALYZED ON MY BED! *screams* lol!
Once an MD and TKM, now a lump stuck in bed coming out of a coma. Say, that's role playing inspiration.
But do any of you have advice for a poor paralyzed girl who can hardly remember any commands? lol! I have to learn how to crawl! Is MD and TKM impossible now together? Has TKM been "nerfed" so don't bother now? That kind of advice.

TKM and doc hun is still a very powerful Template and very very viable. As it stands now you cant just wear any old armor.
Armor:
Recon: Ubesse,Tantel and recon maurder(( the stuff from the quest))
Assualt: Bh armor,Composite,Chitin
Battle:RIS,Padded and Maurder ((AS can make these))
Now each ELITE Profession except TKA gives armor Certs for each different armor IE Recon is worn by Rifleman and Pistoleers...Battle by CM's...Assualt-Bh's,commandos etc.
TKA- Gets Built in armor so they dont wear armor anymore, their skin is their armor like jedi. But if you have battle armor certs and TKA armor if you wear any piece of battle armor you no longer get TKA armor ((Have I lost you yet??

Now that we got past that here goes more on armor
Assualt- High KIN Low Energy Resist
Recon- High Energy Low Kin
Battle- Medium on both
Also their are new mods like General ranged Melee ACC and SPD. This mods well duh gives to all melee Weapons ontop of your Specific Weapon mods (( IE One-handed spd)) same goes for Ranged. ACC deals for DMG and Spd is for DPS ((Damage per second )) They also changed Damage alot too, their are only TWO main DMG's Kin and Energy, some weapons have Elemental Dmg like Acid,Cold and Heat.
The health Bar is just that of WoW, best way to think of it you Have your health if it hits 0 your incaped, you action is your specials bar every special you use draws from it except once again TKA's draw from it and their mind, and like befor your mind is just that Healing.
Stims now work off your combat lvl, your combat lvl works off your template if your a Full combat template then you get lvl80, if you have dancer and crap then well your not. Your health also works off your Combat level, if your lvl80 you get 3k health, and you lose health every lvl under it.
CMD's are still the same and all, their are new specials and old ones, all melee specials work for melee weapons, so if your TKM/Pike you can use a Pikeman special with your VK so on and so on.

Wait, I think I understand. So if I can keep TKM then I won't actually need armor...and even if I put armor on, I would lose my TKM armor anyway. I assume some elite real armors are still better than this "skin armor" -- which is fine for me.
I don't know anything about WoW, but I think I get what you mean about Health. Seems similar to before really - incapacitated at 0. Then if someone kills you, you get cloned. And Action gets drained by special actions.

I dont know if TKA armor is worse or better then Real armor, but I do know its damn good, You dont choose a weapon, All weapons except for special ones are Certified by Combat lvl not Profession like I can use a VK but i wont be good with it at all, same thing if your a TKA and pick up a Rifle.Sepiv wrote:Wait, I think I understand. Check your inventory Sepiv, if you had armor on and now you can't wear it, you may be stuck.
Also, with ne new prereqs, you were probably granted skill trees to keep your professions and exceeded the 250 skill point limit. Until you respec to 250 skillpoints, you can't move.

I confess, I've got that problem after so many months out of the game. I've seen names on my friends list...and they're familiar...but I'm not sure why yet. I'd better play this coma thing up! lol! Sepiv had a baby! :-D
But I still haven't decided what to do with this mandatory respec. Like Skor just asked - if you weren't doing what you're doing right now, what would you want to do? Well, I have the opportunity to completely shift around now if I want to with a full set of skill points. And I hear dancing got better (more moves I mean, not some other aspect). So it begs the question of whether MD or TKM is more fundamentally "Jinx."
This could be a long decision... role playing is really my passion, not so much combat. And combat's changed so much I probably won't recognize it--so TKM? But that doesn't mean I want to be defenseless either. ((sigh))

I do believe that all pre-CU characters still get a 3 week period of /respec twice a day even if this is their fiorst log in... Double check with customer service and if its true just pick somethign and experiment around for a while.
