Some player names that may be familiar have started a brainstroming website for a non-profit Star Wars MMORPG. Who knows what will happen, but you gotta love their intentions.

Would be nice to see Star Wars fans build a game rather than just random developers but they have a lot of work to do before they can even get it off the ground. And I can't imagine it being able to run on a non-profit basis.

Well it would have to be 100% non profit. You can not make a game with a trade mark name and sell it to the public. Though my knowledge of such things is nothing more then the basics. I could be wrong but that aside I would love to se a real Star Wars game.

It goes beyond that.
If Lucas doesn't want this game to be made, it won't be made. This is just a bunch of folks brainstorming, is all.
