If so, best regards and batten down. It skipped through southern Florida when it was still relatively weak. Two days later it jumped five categories (Trop Storm to Cat 5).

I think Katrina will miss you by a few miles at least...

I have friends in GA, and obviously one in AL :P

But it seems like its just gonna be Tstorms and some strong winds in their direction...

We're supposed to be getting some crappy weather but other than my room leaking (after we JUST PAINTED OVER THE FUCKING WATER DAMAGE FROM IVAN, ARRRGH) we should be fine here.

But the hole's where the crows get in to roost. If we covered it up, we wouldn't have anything to eat.

Are you serious, Jabe? I have a response...

That is THE best red-neck response I have ever heard in my entire life. She totally turned the joke on southerners before any of us damn city folk yankees had the chance to do so. You get 2 kudos for that one.

My older brother is down in Florida; but it sounds like it skipped over the St. Petersburg area... Still, haven't heard from him since this started. And, I do hope none of our Tales members, nor their families, wind up without a home because of this one.

Their already estimating somewhere around 26 Billion in damages and close to a... I think I read this right... 1 million left without homes at the end of this thing? Scary stuff.

Aye, the crow makes good eating...... So, here's what ya do...

You box up those holes with a funnel trap! You solve your leak and eating problems in one go that way. :D The crow comes in... but it doesn't go out... and, hey, it'll be pre-cleaned too because of the leaks!

One thing's for sure, we're all gonna be a lot thinner... in the wallet... from gas prices...

Well, my family made it through with minimal roof leakage. My new paint job stayed leak free, but my parents' room leaked like nuts through the light fixtures, as usual. And classes are canceled today. Why I'm not really sure. I want my education, damn it...!

What was left of it tore through Nashville where I live last night and this morning. But all's good.
