SWG Tales

Okay, I'm not an admin folks nor am I trying to be. I've been with Tales since the Mad Monkeys days.

This is simply made as a polite request.

Please do not start flames on this board. People come to Tales to be immersed in the roleplay culture(I know I do)If you have personal problems with someone do it in PM. I don't like coming onto the boards and seeing discord. I've seen more locked threads in last few months than I've seen in the last two years.

Please stop.

I'll second this request.

I agree apon this myself but alas not everybody will follow such a simple request. It happens time to time and all we can do is lock or remove it.

My food cooks faster here than in my microwave though... Ok, I'll stop.

Problem though is that as Tales becomes more popular more people register with the site and the more people there are the more likely a flame will begin here and there. I know we'd all like to think fellow roleplayers are above this but within every group there are a few bad seeds and we shouldn't be surprised when it starts. Other than locks the only thing we veteran Tales members can do is express to the guilty parties that flaming isn't acceptable here and hope the person has enough sence to stop it.

Who had the coolest Flame Unit movie scene?

a. Parker roasting Ashe (heh, Ashe) in Alien.

b. Ripley in the queen's nest in Aliens.

c. Childs in the dog cage in The Thing.

d. The alien bounty hunter in I Come In Peace .

(the last one is obscure, but starring former MIT student and Master of Chemical Engineering Dolph Lundgren...yep, 'tis true!!!).

The Thing...hands down....the dog cage and then the guy on the operating table who's chest bites off the doctor's arms. Then when the flame him, his neck streaches like gooey cheese and then his head comes off, sprouts legs, and runs off.

I hate people who flame on the forums
