But I am not in GMT -5..Zannon wrote:Go into your profile and change your times to GMT-5 (I think) that should fix it for you.
When you are in daylight savings time, you are indeed -5. The rest of the year? -6Ekade wrote:But I am not in GMT -5..Zannon wrote:Go into your profile and change your times to GMT-5 (I think) that should fix it for you.
Kidding, I will do that.
I just wanted to make you guys aware of this.
So I have to change this every time we change our clocks? Spring forward, fall back and all that? What kind of software is this? I am a dumb user ... this is too much.. AAAAAAAH!!!!Coiyonite Adaks wrote:When you are in daylight savings time, you are indeed -5. I agree that it sucks, but the bulletin board software is used world wide and most international users could really care less about daylight savings time. If we just stopped changing out clocks, the world would be a better place.Ekade wrote:So I have to change this every time we change our clocks? Spring forward, fall back and all that? *starts to panic*
Then I suppose we should all start using metric system, eh?Coiyonite Adaks wrote:I agree that it sucks, but the bulletin board software is used world wide and most international users could really care less about daylight savings time. Great idea. I would be spared of some mathematics sometimes, if you would just agree on that almost perfect system that we use tooEkade wrote:Then I suppose we should all start using metric system, eh?
Well it is pretty nice for being free...Dasumi wrote:Great idea. I would be spared of some mathematics sometimes, if you would just agree on that almost perfect system that we use tooEkade wrote:Then I suppose we should all start using metric system, eh?![]()
Btw. i have to change clocks too, can't this board software do that automaticly? I mean... year 2004... high tech age... and this board can't set time by itself twice a year?

I need to also note, that Europe and America do not do their clock changes on the same day or even week sometimes. So even if the board did change the hour we would still be screwed up from time to time.Dasumi wrote:Btw. i have to change clocks too, can't this board software do that automaticly? I, ahm, think i'm understanding your point.Coiyonite Adaks wrote:Well it is pretty nice for being free...
