Novall vs. 4 Kryats = pwned!

Well, our guild space night didnt pan out tonight...so we went kryat hunting and had some swgtales members join us. Probably one of the funner hunting trips I've been on reciently. Together we looted 7 pearls, a small pile of smuggler stuff, and 3 sets of tissues. Thats probably the best loot take i've had in months.

I've never had to stand up to 3 canyon and 1 giant Kryat before. It came to that in the end though and that was the best mob fight I really think I've ever had. I couldnt believe I kept them busy enough for Sepiv to get back from cloning to res averyone in time to take the last one down.

I have to admit, at first Krayt hunting sounded pretty boring, but that was alot of fun. It will be one of those things i think of when i ask myself why im still playing this game

And to think last night 1 Giant Krayt was able to kill me in a matter of only moments.

Although I did manage a few Juvies and got some Dragon Scales, +7 to health, not sure if that's any good.

3 words:

Multiple Creature Control.

Very hard to do at 35m or below. Melee classes cant root and snare or KD multiple creatures at once and work them from outside their hit range. I'll give you an example: Kirt.

Kirt does hella damage with his HLR, but its impossiable for him to control more then 1 creature at a time with just 1 snare. He can go under cover though and pretty much solo a Kryat that way, but as we saw on Wednesday...when the Kryat found him he bought it in about 30 seconds. Controling the spawn is pretty essential when your in a high danger zone like Kryat Graveyard. In the DWB though, its useless...so there you have to rely on a defensive position and use your heals/stance with steak and not stray to far from the group.

Yes crowd control is an issue for me at the moment. However I think the failure was more due to the fact that Saf and I had just killed a Juvie and I had no Force left.

Not having Channel or decent heals was also a major factor. Unfortunately AI does little good if you can't change your position in the battle in 30 seconds. Or if you don't have enough Force to use it again.
