Anyone have any tips on Job Placement Services?

Since my somewhat forced move back home I find myself in the same rut of no access to decent jobs in the country (quite literally the cornfields as it were). Just wondering if any of ya could point me in the direction of either a decent nation-wide job placement service and/or any good tips on relocating with only my high school degree, military experience, and some college.

But thanks for any assistance.

92 Y (ankee) or Supply Specialist for the masses. Basically did a bunch of unit level and larger balancing of supply books (think stock inventory from a department to an entire store's inventory control) and unit arms room; yada, yada, yada. E-bo knows what I'm talking about at least.

Danke, Isy, E-bo; My search continues.

These sites may have some opportunities for supply personnel.

http://www.fedjobs.gov/

http://www.mantech.com/

http://www.anteon.com/ (fyi if you apply for a job here let me know)

http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/

ManTech and Anteon are contracting companies for the government. Depending on what you are willing to do you can make a lot of money with them.

Working on my resume now... not that there's that much to it.

Thanks again for the links, E-bo. Already have a resume up on Fedjobs since they had a construct one as you go built in. :D

become a carpenter or mechanic. Some votechs offer classes for us older folks. They make assloads of money, despite their body odor.

I would agree except you need to find a job to get money so you can buy the tools to perform one of those functions. Rarely do you get a job in either of those professions where your own tools aren't required. (worked in parts department for a while and also did construction work in HS.)
