I've been trying to think of ways to make this event more interesting.

Here is one idea I had, and this idea need not be limited to this event...

How about playing a little out of character? I tried this a little on the first S&V night by flirting with a spice dealer.

The problem I have is that my character is not really scummy nor villainous. This limits the amount of fun I can have in this venue.

Opinions? Is it fun to step into another charater for a time? Or is that considered bad role play?

Sounds fine to me. Stepping out of character once and a while is nice. It gives you the chance to RP a personality or idea you wanted to do but just couldn't with your character. I say go for it if its fun.

But you don't have to be a scumbag or villian to come to S&V night. You just know have to like being around them. :D

HEY!!! I take exception to that!!!

Who am I kidding.. you are totally right Lok'i. Bad characters are far more interesting than good ones. To a person, the people I enjoy interacting with ones who have some "badness" to their character. Some have a lot. :)

My apologies to all of you, but Keer Tregga will be missing tonight's Scum & Villainy.

I looked forward to the RP and testing out the gambling game "Double Suns" (thanks for the inspiration Zannon), but it won't be possible for me tonight. :x

No problems, it's nothing bad, except for real life timing. Bleah!

It's an interesting idea, but one not to be taken lightly I think. You could inadveratdily get braned as that version of your character and requested to attend events and such specifically as them. Before you know it, you're original character has been virtually killed off in favor of his alter ego.

Luckily my character is a bit scummy and villanous... So I really dont have to break from him.. Just turn it up a notch or so.

Alas I am not of the S&V variety, but I did show up and thankfully no one tried to duel me.

I showed up there as an alt. Someone tried to duel me just because I didn't like sand people. go figure.

Oh the best part of the evening was when I went to Mos Eisley cantina and spent two hours talking to these two guys who would leave every 5 minutes and plot their next pick-up strategy while still in earshot of me. I found it both humorous and disturbing at the same time.

I just stood in the corners watching the crowd. Gaming at work makes RPing a bit difficult. So I'd just stand and watch, put the afk sign up when i had to do something then come back and wait and watch....

Novall and I had some fun... But the person paying is going to have to up the amount considerably before I even try to finish that one.
