What really cool carbine should I look at for toting around and looking totally friggin kickass? I'm not necessarily interested in max damage--quest rewards and things that look awesome are just as viable to me. Having a weapon you're fond of is just as key to being proficient with it as the damage output. I'm very fond of the Bothan Bola Carbine, but as my knowledge of other awesome questable/craftable carbines is limited, I thought I'd ask. So what's out there?

The Elite Carbine (craftable) and Nym's Slugthrower (Nym's TP) look quite nice and hit quite hard, depending on the crafter/luck.

Greivous drops a carbine too that looks pretty sweet. The Proton Carbine isn't bad either. A good weaponsmith can make almost any carbine look cool with custom stocks and scopes.

I bet Grievous' carbine is really expensive though...any idea what it's called?

He drops a pistol/carbine/rifle as a more common drop so the price shouldn't be too awful. Each weapon is called the Grievous something or other.

Example: Grievous Striker - dont recall if that was the carbine or the rifle version tho....

It's the Carbine, sells for 300k-2mil.

PreCU Slugthrowers are crap. You'll need one given out after CU. Don't let yourself fool by the damage, it's power comes from the elemental damage. Beats my almost damagecapped FWG on Krayts. ;)

I wouldn't suggest the proton carbine unless you've got Master Bounty Hunter, Dwilah.

There is an interesting Czerka Corp Carbine; but you've got to have one of the 3rd lvl boxes in Carbineer to equip it.

Otherwise, I'd say go with Nym's, an Alliance Needler, or a type of E-11 if ya can get one. I'm starting to amass some carbs; so, I'll see if I have any extra laying around.

....love the Blackscale "Hallsweeper" too. Basically copies the DX acid weapons look.
