Normally we would classify this as Spam since it has no real topic but since its intension is just to stir up conversation with SWG Tales folks out of appreciation we'll turn this into real topic.

The topic is...
How did you come to find and post at SWG Tales?

I can't really answer it myself since I'm one of the people that created it but to give you some backround....

Some of my real life friends along with their real life friends came together to form a site based on our love for RP and SWGTales. This site has brought all of us closer together and I am a richer person for it. Over the years we have built an exciting place that we are happy to share with a community of over 300 SWG players.

So how about you?

I do believe it was from meeting Ekade when we first started performing at the Roba, seems she is the one that gave me the Tales 411.

I came where when the site was first made. (When I was apart of MidCo)

I first came to Tales, I believe, at the promptings of Zannon. After the droid invasion of Nocturnus, where I played a part of the diplomatic entourage from Lost City, I was invited to be a part of the Lost diplomatic entourage at Tales OOCly as well. Things sort of developed from there, and I ended up defecting to Nocturnus.

Hmm I really can't recall.... I know I used to visit some time ago, but only more recently wanted to register and get involved with some story arcs and help develop myself...not to mention the SOE boards finally wore out what I used to consider a boundless amount of patience and tolerance...now those boards just make me ill.

I'm happy here and look forward to developing new relationships both here and in game. You all have done a wonderful job with the site and a great service to the SWG community.



Sorry about the other posts I had. Guess I was just feeling cranky that day and was still getting rid of residual effects from the SOE boards. You guys really have done a superb job here.

I put together an RP event which failed miserably (appropriately named "The Bomb"). A kind soul name Zannon offered me some words of comfort and invited me to join in the conversations he and others were having around GM'ing events on Gorath. This was on a site that Seret runs, if I remember correctly.

At the same time, Novall and I were talking about how it would be good if representatives of all the little RP Cliques would come together for a meeting so we could talk about RP stuff and get more interaction.

Meanwhile, Seret and Jabe are putting together a site known as SWGTales.com.


Fast forward a few weeks....

Tales is up and running. They tell me to go sign up, and I do.

That's how I got here.

Then I saw it!

I saw the light!

I followed it here!

And then, and then! I found my place in the galaxy!

Now that I think of it I think I got Whar here when I would send out mails to all the people who had the RP tag on about Mos Eisley. He's the only one out of 50 or so that has actually taken up Tales and I'm glad I can take the blame for that.

Back in the day I tried to bring some RP focus to Mos Eisely by going on the SOE boards and declareing Mos Eisely an RP Zone. This caught the attention of Ekade, Tramel, and Nyase (I think) and they tiped me to The Mad Monkies site that delt with SWG. When Tales went up Seret sent me a mail bout it and I've been here since.

well it was ceza who refered me to the site so i could come check out the post bout the night when a jedi came in and me and him started trying to slaughter each other, by the way, that jedi is one of my best friends now, turns out he had been when i had started my guild, which forgive me for how stupid the name sounds is SH-TS, had a city then came along the death note for the guild and city: Flinko, still hate him, and he still owes me and a few others a few millions, keep getting mad, and my mad posts probaly all go to that one RP thing that was a pile of crap from me.

im glad yall are trying to e accepting of me, being so loving and caring and helpful to me, specialy you batty, the holy man speaks the truth!
