Taking a break from external RP for a good long while.

I'm going to be taking a break from anything outside of what MERCS members are doing RP wise for awhile so I can work on making MERCS the guild its supposed to be. I will still be running the weekly events as always but I wont be pushing any stories for awhile. Recient events have pretty much burned me the hell out of just RP in general, and I fault myself for not seeing this sooner or seeing it but not paying attenetion. Anyhow, I'll be working with my guild when I get back ingame and thats where my focus is going to lie from now on...where it should have been to begin with.

I have many many responsiabilities that go along with being a leader in both the guild and the community. One of which has to go by the wayside for a little bit while I work on the other.

Does that mean you will or will not be part of the new Jedi purge? Just nice to know what I'm up against :)

Will be nice to see you IG again if nothing else.

Edit: Will you still be running DWB run's and Krayt Hunt's?

And if you do, you will need to flip on your guildwar thing with Templ, as will -ONE-.

You never know whose side we will be on.

I think, as a leader for the community, you may find out that it may be worth the time if you stayed. I don't think any of the parties involved in the events you are referring to are unwilling to resolve the issues. If they are, then I advise them to take a step back and look at the context that these issues reside in.

1: We are all people.
2: People get angry at one another.
3: Most of the time it's over stupid shit.
4: That sometimes provokes stupid reactions.
5: An argument is like a black hole, it draws others in. See #1-4 as to why.
6: All arguments degrade to the stupid level. See #3 & #4 as to why.
7: You can't escape from #1-6.
8: Laugh at #7 when you can.

Why #8? Because it doesn't matter how lofty the argument is, eventually it will degrade to the stupid level given enough time. Get two Physicists in a argument over quantum mechanics, let the debate get heated enough without stopping and pretty soon they will be shouting at each other about the genetic deficiencies of each other's mother with a crowd standing behind each shouting support for their chosen side.

I'm not "leaving", but I need a break. I've got to much on me, and the failure of the arc has really left me at a breaking point. I love my guild, and they have to come first. For me to fix myself, I must first fix the very essence of my character and that lies in my guild. MERCS is a brotherhood and I treat them all as brothers, and seeing some things I have reciently has made me realize that there are some underlying issues I need to confront. Its not like I'm saying "I'm leaving the community! Neener neener *runs away*" however i have multiple levels of responsiability ingame that I can only give so much attenetion to. Recient events have made me realize this and that I've had my priorities in the wrong places at times.

Makes sense...

But if the Jedi purge starts up, and MERCS are involved in it, I ask that you war Templ so we can play that arc properly. There is some RP that has taken place, and will take place, that having the guild war flipped on will help.

Otherwise you will have TTF-S and MERCS vs. -ONE-. Based on our recent learnings, we don't want gross team imbalance.
