There is a LOT of talk in other threads about how to handle things IG when there are disagreements. Just about everyone has suggested to stop roleplaying with the party with which you aren't agreeing when there are no other solutions.

I posted a series of events in the thread regarding this issue and was modded, so as requested I am starting a new one. (I might add in protest that the comments while accusatory were most DEFINITELY on topic)

By now you are all PAINFULLY aware of the disagreements going on between Kirt and Yala. These were ooc disagreements in various threads, which finally reached a head about 2 weeks ago, when we attended the regular S&V night. There, Kirt and Yala again participated in a pm war, with Yala finally telling Kirt she had absolutely no desire to rp with him, and put him on ignore.

Now, this follows EXACTLY the protocols being discussed in the other thread.

Upon being ignored, Kirt pmed ME. Up until this point we had been on friendly terms. He told me how ridiculous Yala was and how he was going to make her pay. He said he upped a 'bounty' on SWG tales by a million credits (a bounty I learned later didn't exist) and that he was going to make a bounty on her PERSONALLY. I advised him THROUGHOUT this conversation that none of this would solve their issues and advised him against it.

He then began to rp with the rest of his guild passing out Yala's photo as if he was readying the troops for war. Didn't take long for the MERCS to spy Yala sitting across the bar completely ignoring them. They proceeded to come over and stand in a line like an execution squad...which drew remarks from many of the attendees. Words were exchanged (though not by Yala as she was PURPOSEFULLY IGNORING THEM) and before long Novall showed up.

I pmed him REPEATEDLY. I told him what had happened, what WAS happening, and that Kirt was pushing an IC issue because of OOC disagreements. Novall's only reply was that there was a bounty on Yala's head. I told him that I didn't care WHAT bounty there was...if this harrassment didn't stop we were all going to leave the event. He proceeded to ignore me...and when Kylie fired upon us we returned fire. (NOT Yala I might add, but the rest of us) Then the entire group of MERCS opened up and DB'ed us all.

Now...I'm perfectly fine with fighting MERCS until the end of time....and it took me 2 weeks before I could even write coherently about the events...but when I saw Kirt and Novall both strutting around in that other thread I had to answer. The community HAS TO BE AWARE that these are the tactics and viewpoints of one of the largest rp guilds participating in this trial and on these boards. You ask why Yala is flaming the hell out of them?

I ask you...what else are we supposed to do? If we cannot just IGNORE them and agree not to rp....are we supposed to just allow this type of behavior with NO RESPONSE??

I've been advised to just drop the matter...that MERCS are young and immature, and would never own up to this disgrace even when they know it was wrong. Well I'm sorry. The day I surrender to a bunch of hormonal children is the day I die.

No, SWGTales cannot be held responsible for the actions of its members in game. But they CAN hold them accountable by at the very least making their actions known to all.

MERCS vs Temple

Both guilds have a private forum here. I think the mods of those forums should decide to invite a couple people from the opposing side in to one of their forums and finish this debate in private there. You can do whatever you want in a private forum.

Please stop debating it in public. Eeach guild leader has the tools they need to argue this out where it should be argued.

Jabe I was advised by one of SWGTales mods to post a new thread. This is a subject that the community NEEDS to be aware of, and is a perfect example of the VERY rules we are discussing when dealing with disagreements.

Who are you again? cause your a fucking Moron. I did pop and was going to do the 1 mill bounty, but by the time i went to post it I noticed somone already posted a General Jedi bounty, and that was our movement against then, Novall had already calmed me down and told me to chill out and not use an OOC attitude to get at her, and I didnt I used an IC bounty posted by a thrid party, so dont go on a Spree saying I used OOC w/e Hell I didnt even fire I "Spread" the News to my men about the Jedi Bounty, they Went to claim End of story, get over yourself espically Since I dont know who the Fuck you are!

Ok, thread done. Either Novall or Ekade can contact me in PM to tell me which guild forum they want to move this thread to if they even want to deal with it.

I agree it needs to get settled, not here though.
