There will be new servers. They may offer us the ability to pick which server to move to. It would SUCK if this community was broken up because we all selected different servers.

This is a fairly good point. They keep telling us none of our stuff is going to be taken away... but we do have to wait till the 15th it would appear to figure out where we can go together. It would be nice to see the community go to the same server.

I'm hoping that Sony gets their heads out of their asses and designates an RP server, that would make the choice that much easier.

Ugh, I got this bad feeling our player cities are going to get left in the dust.

There are those of us who play very early on in the day. I would say watch the boards very carefully when "choose a server" day goes live, and the first...you know, major person to post about a server, everyone else just follow suit.

I can send out an email using the Gorath RP Contact List about these plans if everyone would like. There are many who don't regularly check the boards (including some of our friends that are close to us in game, just odn't visit the boards here).

I'm sure there will be some fracturing due to accidents, but you know...if we just make sure everyone's as informed as we can make them, that's the best we can do.

I agree, we should all try to stick together. AS far as player cities, furnishing, all that fun, but hard work. I really hope they don't destroy it all.

I mentioned it to somebody that it could be a really neat RP opportunity to play out...think of some sort of really cataclysmic event where we all have to relocate and start over, stick togehter.

I know our ultimate goal, should they do it, is to move to an RP Server if they make them WoWesque style.

However, can I be the first to nominate us at least thinking about staying/moving to a new Gorath Server if they make one?

That would be a cool idea. It would be good to blow everything up and start fresh. We could even end up all in the same city, which I think is hugely cool.


What I dont want to see is someone just arbitrarily delcare that they are going to server X, and another group select server Y.. and have the community disperse because people are not cooperating.

Someone needs to get on the SOE RP forum and make sure some common-sense discussions are taking place to we can get the Roleplayers in one place.

Well, I don't think we need a nominee for Tales, really.

If Jabe, Toront, or someone like Ilithrya from Mercs (like, someone not a community authority, necessarily) gets online before Sai'nu on server pick day (provided they let us choose), and they post saying PICK THIS SERVER, THIS IS WHERE I WENT--

I don't want to see people ignoring that and waiting for another post. I think that's kinda silly.

Great we have to move to new servers too? I wonder if they are copying all the current player structures over.....I've got a lot of stuff on my vendors...wonder if I should start pullin it.

I haven't read it yet... but someone said that they either were or were thinking about doing Server consolidation.

Best case scenario... this isn't a worry and the servers/towns/our stuff is staying right where it is.

Worse case scenario we've got to replace all of our stuff/towns/move to a different server. We're just thinking ahead.

I honestly don't think I'll be coming along
