I've been dreaming of Shadowrun online since Ultima came out, but I doubt it will ever happen. I think this topic comes up every time X'an and I are together and beer is involved.

Have you at least gone to
www.shadowrun-online.com? If these guys actually made the game they propose there...

Yeah, I've been there...I like their ideas a lot, so I guess I do have a little hope left in me.

According to what I read there, they are close. A Shadowrun game is launching with XBOX 360. If that game is considered successful, it seems likely that Microsoft would be willing to snap up the MMO project and get it moving. I mean, they've always had it out for Sony. What better way than to start hitting them in the MMO market?

Both, but
NEVER during...that's our special, quiet time.

I'd much rather keep funding Bill Gates

CoH from everything I've heard is by no means 'deep' enough for me to get interested in

All of a sudden the release date for STO beta just seems farther away than it was. I need something new.

Jabe
2007 estimated release date.
By then... we can go through at least 2 more incarnations of SWG.

True, and with the multiplier building as it is... possibly more.

I was just thinking about that game. The GOOD thing about STO being still some time off is that their company has that much more time to study the entire life of SWG, what went wrong here and what went better with other MMO's.
Perpetual Entertainment, the STO development company, has got a strong brand name for the game. Some built-in customers. Let's hope they're good students and learn at least what NOT to do.
Keer = Jarvis on the STO Forum, by the way.
