Wasting time before I go to the movies, and I had a random memory pop up. Who remembers this movie? I haven't seen it in years, so I don't remember if it's actually good for realz or not, but I have really fond memories of it. I thought it was the shizz.

I have it too. This is a great movie for all those people who liked the concepts behind all those 1940's and 50's sci-fic shows. It takes an old concept of a plot and does it in a slightly more believable manner. An other movie like this that I liked was the Iron Giant, a cartoon movie. 20 points to who ever knows who did the voice acting for the character Iron Giant.

The all mighty Vin. It's not like he has this unique voice or anything.

I loved the Iron Giant, it led me to have real high hopes for the Incredibles, but I felt let down by Brad Bird.

I thought that movie looked cool (iron giant) but never saw it.
Most of the time cartoons are not something I dig. But I do like the LOTR cartoon movies that some dude made, His style was pretty cool and he did a couple other movies. One that I recall was of a nerdy looking guy who became a dragon or some crap... only saw part of it, and its been years sooo..... no clue where I'm going here.

A spiffy sci-fi movie this was. It game me high hopes that we'd see some other comic strip like movies come to being. At the time I immediately thought of a lot of Marvel comics I wanted to see as movies after seeing The Rocketeer.

Wonder how long off Iron Man is? Thank you Rocketeer for paving the way, if only slightly.

Wel,l sad news on the Iron Man front.I heard that New Line's option on IM is up and Marvel has scooped it up again to put out to other movie houses. Hopefully we'll get to see it soon..

Who would you cast as Tony Stark?

After seeing his bounty hunter in Riddick... I think I'd cast the guy that played Toombs'; I think he could make an excellent Tony Stark.

It's that or someone less gritty... Tom Cruise.
