When I checked at 3 p.m., all servers were up. I know half of them were up earlier in the day (checked before morning classes...).

Looks like they learned from the last time.

Took me 15 minutes to download. Went into game for about 2 minutes but had to log. Didn't see items in my inventory for lvl 80 Jedi. Planning to log back in later tonight.

Well I can't get out of coro lol... I logged out as a combatant and the stormies are kicking my ass.

Server just went down anyway.

All my saber crystals appear to be the best of the best now. All 14/15 tunes. From what I am told those are high end. I hope that is the reality of it.

Good so far

Well, I got in for an hour or so, before the servers went down again.

It wasn't too bad for me. (First time I could play as CL80). I stayed with my profession (BH) and I was positively surprised about the conversion.

1. Armor: I could wear all types of armor: assault, battle and recon
All stats were the same than before

2. Weapons: Weaponconversion was not as bad as intended. As an example, I still can use nearly all weapons I could use before, like proton carbine, high scatter and so on. The only one I found that can only be used at CL 88 was the Heavy Lightning Rifle (BH specific). Of course, the damage stats were highly reduced. For the carbines, max damage is now around 220.
The weapons with elemental damage had all +19 as elemental damage.
Some loot carbines like the grievance striker got reduced in range (35m)

Melee weapons like rykk blades or vibro lances got converted with damage between 200min and 440max.

3. Food and spices: Sometimes very funny conversions. Too much work to list all the changes now.

4. Ressources: All stats were kept, as far as I could see.

5. Missing Items: Now we come to the bad part
All slicing components like microplating, trigger assemblies, cores and so on, were gone . I dont know if this is intended (/shrug). As mentioned before, many parts (enhancements like krayt tissue, gorax bones...) have no stats anymore.

6. Interface: You sometimes need the # key to use or to examine items.

7. Pets: The conversion of the pets is also funny . Example: my level 5 slice hound is now level 46! That means, I cannot call her anymore. But the mounts are still working

8. Missions: I tested BH missions and standard destroy missions. Both types worked as before the NGE.

That's it for now. I hope the servers will come back soon and with no dramatic changes. (But give me my missing stuff back!!!)

Still Bounty Hunter, but for how long?

I cant get on Gorath again atm... but when I was on earlier I got to experience the new system for the first time.

I am upset by the fact that I cant get into a view thats not over my shoulder.

The chat system blows, the combat is odd, but I kinda like it. My spy abilities are wierd and I have no real reference as to how to use them or how they work.

Played for a little bit before the storm blew through. Impressions?

Kinda like the spy stuff (wish I could get the loot that they say we're supposed to get with the levels.. want a spy necklace...). Want to test the smoke bomb and the stealth thing nearer to people I know to see what happens. I like the steal ability as well (great for just randomly doing... hehe. Yes, time killer).

Kinda like that they do give the option of making a pet useable by the current lvl. May bring Howl back to lvl 10 (he used to be a BE 10 before the first CU, then lvl 39 after CU, then 35 after the CH patch... aiee... poor baby..).

My weapon, with one of the spy shots, does 1000 damage...I think. I could be wrong. But I was having a brief 'DAMN!' moment.

The combat's taking me a few moments to get used to and I would like to be able to merge the chat windows so I don't have to go back and forth between the windows (can we seperate the chat windows?). But overall, although I'm getting used to it, it's not all that bad. Much better than the last CU.
