Alert from SOE "Credit Duping"?

The following message was on the SWG log-in screen within the last hour or so:

A credit dupe has surfaced. We are aware of it, and have put a solution in place.



We know who was involved in this credit counterfeiting - - We log everyone's financial transactions, including WHO AND WHERE THE MONEY IS TRANSFERRED TO.



Please be careful and REFUSE receiving any large sums of money/credits from anyone.



We are suspending the accounts of these players and banning anyone who has participated in this "money dupe", which includes transferring or receiving of funds/credits.



If you know of a Player or PA Hall that has received these funds, PLEASE DO NOT attempt to retrieve any of this money... this will flag your account as being involved in bannable activities. We are going to delete the houses of anyone who has participated in these activities.



We take this extremely seriously, and will go to great lengths to protect your play experience.

We don't know what the details are (because they're not saying), but I guess we should all be wary of...something.

So I guess there is money laundering going on in game? I am guessing its an exploit. I always heard there was a way to get treasury money double at certain intervals but never knew specifics.

Damn.. you know what's funny.. people have credits for sale on ebay... multiple sets of millions of credits.. I think I saw 10 sets of 10Mil Cr for sale for the gorath server the other day...

10 mil Cr goes for $100 on ebay.. And I bet this is the money laundering going on in game.. so people are paying like a 100 bucks for this money and then getting it taken away from them by SOE I bet they will be PISSED!!!

Just caught on the SOE forums that over 550,000,000,000 (thats billion folks) were duped!! Gee, you think they wouldn't notice that??? Some people are just straight stupid.
