Getting a Lightsaber
Go to your datapad, then draft schematics. It will tell you what resources you need for your saber. Get those resources as well as a 14.91 LS crafting kit (use vendor search). Make your saber. You will also need at least a color crystal to make it work when you are done.

As far as crafting station, I believe 14.91 is the best on Gorath - but who knows now.

Getting Robes
You should still be able to get these at any force shrine. I have not yet confirmed this though.

Confirmed on robe, got Jordyn one today at a shrine but they have no stats so.. no point unless you REALLY want to own one.

3 questions since I'm still not going to be on till maybe this afternoon if I'm lucky...

1) Did our pre-NGE sabers stay in our inventory?

2) If not, what happened to the crystals we had in said sabers? (I've got a Bane's Heart/Sunrider's Destiny in a saber on Vreese and I'm suddenly worried they went poof?)

3) The Vet Perks are 'deffinately' only after 2 respecs? (watching other threads and wondering if this will be given to us in a Hotfix still?)

Yes pre-NGE sabers are still there tho the stats are different (lower). Also pre-NGE the special damage crystals such as sunriders & banes displayed elemental damage percentages - now they don't. I tried both sunriders and Kenobi's Legacy and the elemental damage difference was minimal - hence you can pretty much use any color crystal since the damage modifier is pretty insignificant imo.

Not sure what vet perks you are referring to, but I had the choice for blue-glowy, Elder titles, Perks from Kenobi's home, etc. once I chose Jedi for my profession. I haven't used any respecs yet.

SOE had posted something about an Eldar Robe and/or Lightsaber Hilt? Judging by the other threads we didn't get these as promiced yet?

Some info that would be helpful for new Jedi (since I know some people were confused as to how): meditating at shrines.

Kneel, target the sparkling glowy thing, and hit the tilde key `

Then follow your nose to the fruity taste!
Note: Not sure if this will apply to anyone else, but blue glowy form does not appear to work unless you actually have Jedi as a profession. Nor can you equip your Jedi vet rewards unless you have Jedi as a profession.

The other crystal is an ugly brown. The "light side robes" are a medium tan, with a grey shirt and light tan skirt, whereas the Opressor robes are a uniform dark brown.

Blue glowy works for anyone that was at least padawn prior to NGE.

...and yes, Iago has to be a Jedi, or I have several items that are untransferrable to Jart. I'm really at a loss for what to do.

Ah ok, yes when you login and choose Jedi as your profession you will get a message from glowie obi-wan telling you to come to his house for some gifts. When you get to his house there is a tent outside with a couple cabinets/containers. One container will allow you to choose light or dark jedi robes, while the other lets you choose blue or brownish crystal.

Unfortunately when I went there the graphics weren't showing up for the items so I had no idea which robe was which lol.

Blue glowy Obi-Wan contacted me via comlink, or w/e, too, when I chose Entertainer as my initial profession. I also went to pick up my items from his crazy house. Some people I talked to didn't read their quest journal and only picked up their robe. Don't forget your crystal in the other container, when you get there.

The tent next to his house was floating while I was there, I had to look up to get to the containers.
