its hard for me to remember thats selecting a special and right clicking to use it are two different things

so yeah i went luke... i have no saber, force choke isnt working, lightning snares and all, but nothing fantastic at cl80. but i can throw any melee weapon execpt a knuckler!!!i think a jedi with a cool dagger would be crazy!

so i was killing lvl 82 gurks with my kashyyyk bladestick, normal attack is crazy fast, mix in a special and use the jedi stances and damage mods and i could cut through em pretty fast. but thats just a gurk, i played for 30 mins before i logged. its definatly different, but not stupid imo. time will tell for others, as for me im still only here for 10 more days.

I like the feel of it. I am still quite new to the specials...I hate having to click click click to do good damage cuz the mele auto attack is slow as hell for Jedi.

Sabers....thats another story. I like how we cannot just go out and own a WHOLE mob of lvl 80 monsters. BUT how you can still be effecitve enough to own a single mob the same lvl or slightly above your lvl. The lag has been a real bitch IMO revis and I went out playing on dant against some Voritor lizards and lag got us into the cloner a couple times.

Just hold down the mouse button, normal saber attacks are good speed depending on how much lag you're dealing with. I played with it a bit last night and I would use saber throw, hold the mouse button, then let off of it long enough to use a special or two. From what I saw force choke does work as far as damage goes, but there is no visual effect I could see. I also didn't notice and movement slowness since the mob was mano y mano conmigo.

I have to say I do like it.

The real challenge is getting used to the Number key/Right mouse click special attacks. I would lean toward calling combat tricky but not unmanageable.

Some interface tweaks with your options/keymapping and you can have pretty near to the old interface in game still. You don't 'have' to use the Enter to talk thing. *points at NGE goes Live and Key and Emotes threads* Just check here.

I think it'll be fine after they do some more work with quests/xp and just do a little work on how the combat works.

Overall: I'm happy with the changes just need to get used to them.
