Kika'Vati Training: Open Invintation.

As one of the first events for the NGE I'd like to propose a Sparring Match for the Temple (and open to the Community as well) at Nym's Fighting Ring!

I'm going to start this for tomorrow, Thursday, but consider this open indeffinately if some of you would be so kind as to keep the ring going over the weekend perhaps.

I'd like to use this as an opportunity to try out the NGE for us. Get to know our Professions at our Levels and perhaps add a little bit of a initiation/rights of passage for our Kika'Vati (last part really only applying to Templ candidates).

Ready those sabers, swords, and blasters.

We'll shoot for 8pm CST at Nym's Fighting Arena. (Or, what I've dubbed his Fighting Arena at this point. Looks like one to me.)

I really wanted to be there but RL got in the way. If you guys see me online and want to duel and play around, let me know. My hat goes off to Batak who helped me quite a bit with PvE and grinding yesterday.

You're dealing with NGE a lot better than CU Batty.

Glad I could help. And thanks for the encouragement.

I guess I should start with a recap. We established some rules for Nym's Arena last night. Nothing too bogged down and it really is just good sportsmanship.

1) Don't kill each other after incap; Kowtow, let your opponent out of the ring.

2) You must stay in the ring. Believe me, ranged people, you can still 'kite' a melee profession in the ring.

3) Take it for what it is; a learning experience. The two people in the ring set their own rules and when to start.

Just for the record... Snado can be beat. Although that honor does not go to me yet.

I think everyone walked away with a feeling of what works a little more and a knowledge that armor really does make a difference in NGE.

My humble thanks for those of you that came last night.

Also, I think Nym's Arena is an excellent place for people to go spar if you take an interest in it. Just be mindful of his gaurds.

I too am sorry. I set my clock to wake up at 3 am, I did, only to find server was loading. So I didn't wanna wait indefinetly for it to load and went back to sleep. Hope you will repeat it some day.
