Getting Everyone Up To Lightspeed

Beginning on the afternoon of November 9th 2005, as an added bonus for our veteran players who do not yet have the Jump to Lightspeed expansion (and thus, space content) we will be giving you this expansion at no additional charge. This bonus content will automatically download to you upon your next log in to the game beginning on your next login to the game after this goes live. After all, space is more fun with other people to enjoy it with! May the Force be with you!

I didn't catch this at first and wondered why one of my accounts had JtL, so I finally saw this launchpad announcement and figured I'd post it for anyone who hadn't caught it yet (yeah, this is belated) and was wondering.

Only reason they did this is because the morons wrote an intro that required it. Rather than fixing the intro... they did this. It kind of irritates me, seeing how I paid for this expansion.

Yes, and all the really need to do is give the people the put down the cash for it a little bonus, just throw us a bone and it wouldn't be a huge deal. But they charge ya 30 bucks and 6 months later they are giving it away, well its just a slap in the face. If they would have given us something special for our ships or something along those lines it would be easier to swallow. Oh well....

Remember too they gave away JTL with Rage of the Wooks, thats how my wife got it, so this isn't that new
