Oleh told me, last nite, that SWG has lost 38% of its player base. Is that overall, or just for the NGE? How does one find confirmation/denial of that?

I don't know how you would go about confirming that, as I imagine SOE would keep a fact like that bottled tight.

Secondly, that number seems impossibly large. I think it's a rumor.

Rumor, Xyryn. I imagine a lot of players are simply stand offish about the new system is why the server may seem a little light at the moment. A lot of cancellations they probably won't count until the 'paid time' on the accounts is up.

Bottomline though; Unless we hear something officially from a Dev post... don't believe it completely. There are just as many upset players that want to see this NGE fail as there are those that just don't understand it or don't have a feel for it yet. There are plenty of players to keep this ship floating. They know it, we know it. We'll figure it out; it's a change and people really don't like change for the most part as a general rule of thumb. Just give it a chance.

But everyone i know that came back has told me they are leaving again just like me . Ill play for my month i payed for to catch up with friends but if i wanted to aim id play battlefront 2 which i do lol. I just think if they wanted fast combat they could have just gone back to the original system that was plenty fast this new system is almost to fast .

It's NOT going to Console! Devs keep us in the dark about many things... but rarely have they blatantly stated... "This is not going to happen." and then they decide to get up off their butts to do it. I think even with the state of the game right now... their looking at MORE work to put it on console. Probably even more work than if they brought back Pre-NGE to be honest. Something they seem to be trying to do less and less of.

As for the playerbase turnover rate... Well... look at it this way... are your friends still playing? Are you willing to make new friends in game? Think... constructive.
