I just wanted to post a public thank-you to all of those who came to help me with the Mellichae quest on Thursday. I hesitated before listing names, because I'm sure I'll forget someone, but I'd like to thank those who took time out of their attempts to accustom themselves to the NGE to come and give me a hand:

Iago, Randal', Batak, Isleh-lin, Dwilah, DuoX, Siri, Snado, Xyryn, Asharon, Shodow, Wolfsmurf, Ar'ym, and whoever else came (like I said, I'm sure I forgot someone).

It didn't exactly go off without a hitch (ty, ty, ty Dwilah-the-Rezzer!!), but Mellichae was killed and the mission was completed. Even though I "don't qualify for the Padawan Trials," it was nice to feel that I completed it. Thank you very much for reminding me why I stay in the game - I love you all!

So since you did mellichae after the NGE do you get glowy status and all the other rewards?

No, I'm pretty sure I don't. The message I got said that I didn't qualify to begin the Padawan Trials. I sent in a ticket, on the off-chance that I might get it, but I really, really doubt it.

Thats kinda bogus, honestly. The village is still there, etc.. you'd think they'd honor the last few people to get it done.
