NGE Character Stats: What do they do?

Here's what we have:

* Strength: Melee attack stat increases damage
* Precision: Ranged attack stat increases damage
* Agility: General defense in combat reduces damage
* Stamina: Increases action
* Constitution: Increases health
* Luck: (I'm convinced this helps with dodging atm; maybe loot too.)

I'll be looking these up... but if any of you can enlighten us before I edit an update; please feel free to. I do think Luck has something to do with our ability to dodge.

I have, twice now, seen "<lucky>" float up over me in combat. Very simular to the "<armor save>" I use to see with my sliced armor.

Just a guess, but it could function like the FS Luck to get better loot as well as a % chance to take less damage being hit.

Ok, at CL 83 I unequipped all of my stat mod items to see what kind of Base I have and here's what I got:

Jedi Stats:

Strength:83
Constitution:0
Stamina:0
Precision:83
Agility:83
Luck:83

This may be bugged right now. But an assumption I'm starting to make is that these go up with your Combat Level and Constituition/Stamina may be a set rate attribute (not going up in CL; but modified by Stat items).

While I do decent damage with a saber; I do better with a carbine at the moment with no armor (aka tanking). How do I compensate? I usually only use my saber in enclosed areas right now. Which makes sense... till they add in armor stats. This allows me to be an equally decent Ranged Profession as it does Melee.

I don't know if it is bugged, but as of now, everyone has the same stats. It's their level on every stat except constitution and stamina. What do these stats do?

Well, as your constitution goes up, your health does as well. +20 constitution is +200 health, but since most creatures hit us for well over 1000 damage, it's pretty worthless.

Strength? I got a +100 strength item. It made me do about 2 more damage. Yay...

Stamina I havn't tested.

Agility? Probably broken, no difference when mine is 88 or 188.

Percision is probably the same as strength, but I havn't tested it yet.

Luck comes into play in 1 fight in 100. It can do two things currently. It can make you dodge an attack, and so you take no damage, or it can make you critical hit. I have noticed no difference from 88 luck to 188 luck, but this is probably because getting "lucky" is so rare.

Hey, you watch it. Baldness is a disability, just like being deaf or blind. You wouldn't make fun of a deaf and blind person, would you?...you would, wouldn't you? :sad:

Hey, baldness is not a handicap. It happens to be rather attractive. You don't think that all those stars and rappers shave their heads to keep the ladies AWAY, do you?

Take it from a Twi'lek, bald is beautiful.

Ryker was one of the least attractive featured players I've seen...right down there with that sleemo Ferengi, Quark. (that actor could actually act, in an overblown kinda way...whereas the Ryker actor was a no-talent.)

Picard tho....well, did anyone see him in I, Clavdivs? Wuhuuu!

No I am pretty sure he needed to be punched in the face at any given moment...in fact I would have paid to see those Kilingon chicks rip him into little chunks.

Nope. But I did see him on the daily show.
