If it's just for bashing the NGE, I can get plenty of that on the SOE forums.

I don't need a wake up call. I happen to be playing the game. What I need is information on how to play the game better and more often then not, I have to turn to the SOE forums to find it.

Flame me if you want, I don't care. I am simply tired of the ad-nausium posts of "This Game Sucks". I don't know about you, but I am halfway through level 81 to 82 and I did not have to grind to do it. Not one fricking lava flea was harmed from level 81 up.

There is one thing you can't deny, Like the NGE or not. For the first time in 2 years there is something to do other than loot harvest and grind. How many times have you seen someone say that they didn't stay for the game but because of the community? Including me? Even after the CU? Doesn't that throw up the warning flags to you about the state of the game?

I'm sorry, but I don't want to grind out a new profession to max level in a day because I'm bored. I don't want to endlessly kill boles, pickets and gureks to do so. I don't want to eventually be forced to play a Jedi if I want to PvP. ( I don't care if a person playing a normal profession bringing their A game can beat a Jedi. The fact was, if that Jedi brought their A game, no matter how well the normal profession did, they couldn't win. )

Crafters? Lets face it, since the beginning, if you are not a 12 point AS or WS, forget it. There was a complete lack of crafters during the CU and before the CU but heaven forbid if SOE makes any changes.

So it's business ethics? Lets talk about Blizzard running software on my system that tells them exactly what I'm doing and what software I'm running. I can just imigine everyone's reaction if SOE did that.

I am sorry that everything is so negative for those of you that are staying. This is going to be a difficult transition for this community. Perhaps the most difficult ever.

I wish I could guarantee the forums would be as they have been in the past, but they're not likely going to be that way. At least not for a while. Less than half the team are still playing this game and only two of them are active. I am uncertain what the future looks like right now. I wish I could say things were going to get better, they will but it will not be the same as before.

Now, the flip side of the coin is that I also play EQ2. SOE hasn't managed to fuck that game up yet. There has been no huge lies, no string alongs ect. Probably because they are the only ones with controling interest in the game.

I blame Lucas Arts just as much as SOE. But I cant continue to play a game where I'm unable to trust the people developing it to have my best intentions in mind.

Sure, software companies are very sneaky. We see this every day with Microsoft and other big names. Its one thing to NOT tell you about something you've included. Its another thing to TELL people your doing something for months then totally rip the carpet out from under them by doing something that totally goes against what they've been telling you. We know to expect it from software companies by now, but we wenr't expecting it to happen to something that we put our hearts and souls into.

Thats why ires me from top to bottom. I cant trust the development of SWG any longerl.

I agree with Jabe and Novall. The game that we know doesn't exist. Our forums and the SOE forums for that matter will never be the same.

You may like the NGE, you may hate it. Please don't become an apologetic for SOE unless you've had any experience developing software or are a programmer. I'm not saying you can't enjoy the game but don't make excuses/defend SOE/LA unless you have some kind of an insider viewpoint.

Just my opinion, take it as you will.

I have to side with Novall on this one. If I was told about this even in a months advance I might have accepted this better but the fact is I was lied to. All my stuff that I planned on doing is worthless and RPing feels sickening trying to use this system.

As said before I am going to play Lineage 2 till the end of december then If nothing is fixed by then to change my mind I am leaving 100% and I am not giving 1 thing to anybody just so the community can feel the impact of it's trade. I have lots of old very, very rare items that you will most likely never get ever again plus some items that are just rare.

I would ask that if a thread is here to discuss things in game for those of us still actively playing the game that folks not playing the game try to avoid derailing threads by the usual negative merd. I don't like the changes but I want to try to enjoy the game still and personally I have a lot bigger things in my life to bitch and moan about if I felt like it, I want to try to focus on the things I enjoy.

Having people drop their shiite on threads trying to move forward as best we can is akin to trolling. If you want just start a "NGE sucks thread.....this is why thread" and vent in there. If someone has a thread started about mechanics, professions, loot, etc and someone feels the urge to soundoff about how SOE ruined our game try to restrain yerself and go post in a new thread.
