I've been doing these for a few days now for the Jabba missions and I just did a Rebel mission solo last night...

If you'd be intereseted in doing one sometime this week just jot me down a /sign and a time and day this week you'd be available to go do one.

Currently I can gaurantee I can do the Jabba and Rebel ones... I have an Imperial toon too... but I can't gaurantee my toon can even get to the characters I need to do the quest. So if your willing to run an Imp Vette... chime in here.

I've found this to be fun and some good NGE practice so far... decent loot too.

Nothing like taking on SBDs to teach you how to time your specials and heals as well as positioning yourself.

Nothing like plundering a corvette for booty too.

Yes they are fun, last night my medic went with Batty and 3 other peeps and we had a good run, Rinna makes an excellent sabatouer!

Iago's been Imperial...since launch. We've been doing neutral vettes, so faction means nada.

I'm also under the impression that you can go up as an Imperial on the Rebel Vette, or vise versa, solely for the badge... but you won't be able to attack anything. Might experiment with this later this week.

The corvette run seems to be easier after NGE. My guild did a run few weeks ago with a full group, and our group got slaughtered. We did another run with 5 people and it went very well.

For myself, I'm getting a lot more out of these runs because nothing runs from me (I'm melee centered), most things aren't going to one shot kill you if you handle your mobs correctly, and... what can I say... Its the most fun I've had with NGE yet. It's a pirate's dream come true... pillage and plunder to your weasily black heart's content on the Vette, Yaaaar!

Two days ago I mistakely went to the corvette "on leave". Only droids are attackable.

That can be a good thing.... if your just wanting to get the rescue/destroy mission fairly easily; Or just go for the AV run.

At any rate I'll deffinately be 'somewhere up in space' today to test the new Robe stats. Try and post info on this as soon as I can; If some of you don't get on before I do that is.

Pre-NGE, Klaatu would give a system message stating that players of the opposite faction are not allowed to board the vette with your group, and that person always was left staring at Klaatu, all alone. I'm willing to bet this hasn't changed, but we can give it a shot.

I'd like to come on the next Rebel run while i'm still rebel. It's hard for me to believe that I've been playing as long as I have and still have so much content I've yet to see.

Ok, also solo'ed this with Vreese this morning. Although these are white bar CL 88 elites; There is a certain ammount of satisfaction killing a SBD at CL 80.

I guess this is my way of saying... if I can solo it... I have no doubt a bunch of you could... And it's fun!

I'd be happy to run a Rebel Vette but I'm finding getting the tickets for these is much more a pain than the ones for Jabba. I'll post a Vette Walkthrough shortly.
