I still need to.
This is reminding me very much of a Pirates game I used to play on my Brother's old Mac when he'd be home from college.

That looks alot like what Sid Meir's Pirates! could have been. I just bought the 2005 PC edition of Pirates!. Aww man we used to compete in that game, but it wasn't mulitplayer so we came up with our own ranking system. This company might fulfill alot of old Pirates! players dreams. Signing up for the Beta too! Can't resist.
Vote: How many alts will E-Bo have in this game? Go 'head, She-Beard, captain of
The Bearded Lady!

I've said it before (in a private forum)... I live by the code. I need no game to be an outlet. The rest are just posers.

Couldn't get into the Beta testing either, eh?

Not that I signed up but I am not big on beta testing. Especially after doing it for such a long time in another game recently. I prefer to play the finished product.
EDIT: I was bored so I applied. I listed my reasons for wanting to play the game:
I be a pirate! ARRR! If ye don't let me beta test dis it be to the plank wit ya!
I would continue to tell you all the reasons I be da man fer de job but the sun be over the yardarm! YARRR!

Yeah, next year looks to be especially busy for me. I may not have the time to try this game. Cutting back on the "funs". I might be jumping back in the school pool with a Triple Lindey, Thornton Mellon style. <crazy eyes>

I've decided not to get involved int he beta for this game for fear of becoming jaded like the vets in SWG. As a matter of fact I may wait until a month after launch before picking up STO. I've seen a lot of people since I have started SWG go on about "we've been promised this since launch" and I don't want to be one of them. Ignorance is bliss.

What if there's a free Vulcan Slave Tart for the first 50k subscribers? She'll choose you as her champion and you'll have to battle abolitionist Spock with a rotation of 3 ancient combat weapons to keep her.
That would be cool. You'll have to sign up, man.
