ToonTown Online got a 53%. heh

At this point... that doesn't really surprise me. Everyone is going to rip them a new one straight on into the New Year because of how they pushed a game changing patch on an unsuspecting community. I doubt we'll ever see SWG get a good review again.

No matter how big the company, or the person, you can't change the past though. In all do fairness I would hope that number could change into a good one... someday. I'll be around to find out for one.

I'm sorry, but I am going to keep a possitive attitude around here about SWG even if it pisses everyone else off. A lot of the changes really are good; just not well thought out yet (and still being worked on) and putting us back into alpha/beta testing. Should we be at this point? No. But for the sake of the Star Wars name I know and love; I'm going to continue to give it a chance. And while an already old game... I think this kind of newness should have the potential to prolong the shelf-life of a game for extended years.

Although I find any insider information to be completely bogus... I'd lean toward seeing what the game looks like in six months if you still happen to be one of the ones that simply hates it and can not trust SOE/LA PR right now.

I'm having a blast since the rebalance. I just wish PvP was still as fun.

Personally, I think ToOW is a lot better than RotW, I haven't done half as many quest in RotW as I have in ToOW...the loot is better, the stories are better, and the variety of things you have to do in the quests are better.

I still have a ton of Kashyyyk quests to do and have no inclination to do them.

Yeah, ToOW was an awesome expansion. After a week of doing the quests and being real into the repeatable dungeons and generally thinking "this game is really getting fun again", they dropped the bomb.

When the CU came out you were ready to quit on a daily basis. I am glad you have seen the light. Unfortunately few us have the ability to stomach this last set of changes.

That's exactly the motivation I do have now and where it stims from now, Jabe. Learning from my previous mistake. The game has changed... but it's still playable and it's still fun... because I choose to make it that way for myself instead of beating on it on a daily basis like I was dead set on doing with the CU.

Is there an online version of the review?

As far as the quests go? I like them. Some of the NPCs add life and just don't just stand there. Tumbs up.

As far as the graphics go? I hate them. There are some really cool things, the lava waterfalls are pretty amazing. Just gets ruined whan you look at the large lava pools suuounding them. Checkerboards?! After seeing some of the intro movies and cut scene's for other games and viewing the one for Mustafar? SOE gets a big fat thumbs down for that.

So the Isleh review also gives ToOW a 50%
