Richard Pryor was responsible of the funniest stand-up I've seen in my life...today is truely a sad day.

Beat me to it. Indeed. Sneaking to listen to Wanted: Richard Pryor (1979) on my Dad's 8-Track was my first LMAO from a comic.
His routine about his heart catching him talking to God is still one of my all-time favorites. If there's an afterlife, I hope Pryor is on stage for me.
