Whew! It feels like it's in the '80's down here. I'm sweating through my shorts and sandals. At this rate I don't know if I can make my beach volleyball schedule today. I hope the home made ice cream shop isn't too packed....
So, how's everybody else this winter?

It's been unseasonably cold here in the heart of the heart of Dixie this winter, which I have been loving to death. Mid-40s and I wish it were colder!!

I've had to shovel my driveway TWICE so far already this month.
That's like, icing on the snow cake, Keer. ;P

If you think that driveway is only 20' long, then I suggest you start landing earlier on your runways. I don't want you skidding through any intersections, my nearsighted friend.

I know how to use my thrust reversers
but if you really need help with your 30' driveway, I'm sure I can bring some of the plows from Ohare to help ya out
they're about like these, except even wider than this 25 footer

*takes X'an's Lightwindshield Scraper and cuts open Skor with it*

For reals, my driveway would be done in like 1 second, literally. Yeah, pull some strings and get that guy to somehow make it to my house without taking everyone on 294 out.
And I will LOL if you are correct (and I assume you are) that his "problem" with his reverse thrusters was that he had forgotten to turn them ON.

well with most thrust reversers, they really don't help a whole lot
on mine it only reduces the ground roll distance by 20%

Well, that 20% would have kept him out of the street, if he didn't have them on at all, but he looked like he needed about 50% to keep him on the end of the runway there.

My boy (2.5) helped me shovel the drive and sidewalk this weekend. We made a snow fort in the pile at the end of the driveway, made snow angels (his looked kinda like a moth) and I dragged him in his sled over the snow plow mini hills. I'm hoping the snow is still around this coming weekend when we'll be up at my mom's. Good sledding hills there.
Winter is going lovely.
