Glad to see they are giving it another try. Last one was the first movie that I ever walked out on before it was done. On top of that it did a bad rip of one of my favorite classic spy movies (Notorious). Me and my brother both got right up and walked out. All that nutty motorcycle nonsense...

Phil Hoffman and Larry Fishburne are always good to see. As is Ving. The old TV show is still good to watch.

Yes, the last one was not to my liking as well. It seemed that they were trying to get a bit too artsy and dramatic for an action/adventure movie. I hope that this one will turn out a bit better.

I remember watching the MI remake series that ran in the 80's. I thought that was a pretty good series..

So what do you think are the odds that Cruise plugs Scientology or we see references to it in the movie?

First off: MI:3 looks like a snoozefest. I've never been more bored by an "action" movie trailer. I loved the first one. The second one was just "meh."

Second off: Hard Boiled has exactly zero crazy motorcycle action in it. There's two guys on 150cc motocross bikes who get pwnzored. That's it.

Third off: MI:2 was a SHITTY Woo movie. And trust me when I say I've become an authority on the matter. <-- Not your average internets bragging.

Tangent: I saw a book in the grocery store today called Mission: Impossibly Sexy. It was about a paleontologist who normally didn't chase men but took off to Montana to do....something. At that point I put it down because the novelty of the funny title wore off and the blurb on the back was retarded.

2 was awesome and 3 looks amazing. Just cause it wasnt up to Woo's level or wahtever the your talking about means nothing. MI:2 was great I watch it whenever im in need of an entertaining action flick.

No, only Cruise can cut himself from MI movie-wise. He bought the rights with a producing partner to be his cash cow side franchise.

And MI the First was very good. It's one of my favorite spy movies now. The "MacGuffin" from that movie, the NOC List, even found it's way into real life scandal recently. A real world NOC agent's identity was leaked to the news media, investigation underway.....

Hrmm..... Crappy trailer IMO, but i liked the first movie and the second was not too bad ( i do agree it was not Woo's best ). But anything with Ving Rhames in it is da shit :P
