Stupid question...what does it do?

It adds about 22 elemental damage to your saber, this is about the best you can get without using a Twin Force Cluster or the Kenobi crystal given to Elder Jedi.

Sunrunner's destiny does the same only it's teal instead of the purplish/red color of Banes Heart.

So if I already have Sunrider's Destiny.. there is no real reason to get this aside from the color, yes?

I believe Sunrider's destiny is of equivalent potency, but Hashum would know for sure.

That is correct, it's merely a matter of color preference.

Normal color Crystal I think offers 15-20 damage, don't really know exactly anymore been so long.

Sunrunner's Destiny/Heart's Bane/Lava Crystal (not sure on the lava crystal) I believe these add 22 damage. You have Teal/Purplish/never seen the lava crystal

Legacy of Kenobi/Other Elder Crytal- can't remember the name of the other crystal but it's a brown color. Either way these add 28 damage.

Basically the imporant thing to know is that the two Elder crystals do the most damage, next are the other named crystals, followed by your regular plain color crystals which add the least damage.

Side note: Currently former Twin Cluster Crytals from pre-NGE have converted to "Red" color crystals in the NGE, these crystals have MUCH higher damage proprties associated with them. I've not seen confirmation if this is working as intended or not. It's on the current Jedi Issues list but I've seen no dev response to this point.

Basically here is some good info

Less then 500 damage = crap saber
501-510 = really bad
511-520 = getting better
521-530 = hey this isn't so bad
531-540 = now we're talking
541-550 = I rock
550+ = I pwn your face

This is the damage on your Saber not the character sheet. On your character sheet you should really be aiming for I think about 740-1100 type stat's but I've not really gotten into that yet so I'll be looking into those stats soon.

I couple pearls this morning and I am now at... 541-550 = I rock

I need one or 2 more good tunes and I'll be happy. I'm not going for max max uber.. just "really good without spending way too much time at it".

Cept my elder 538 saber is twice as fast as when i put in my 18-19 nge pearls

Well, me and Ekade are in the same area saber wise, 544 but oen thing that bugs me, how the hell are elders hitting me at 15-20 meters.
