SWG Tales

I am looking in my Add/Remove programs and I see not one but three entries for SWG...

Star Wars Galaxies: Jump To Lightspeed Size 3,560.00MB
SWG: Jump to Lightspeed Beta Size 3,560.00MB
Star Wars Galxies Size 1,760.00MB


Do I need all 3 of those? Which, if any, can I remove?

You should be able to murder the Beta at the very least.

I'm pretty sure you'd be looking at it taking up the same space anyway... but you might be able to delete your JTL as well. Only reason I can think of for doing that would be that they just got through giving it to everyone. So, it might just repatch to your SWG file on next log-in instead of being 2 seperate entries. That's just a guess on my part though.

The sizes are misreports. The full versions take up the same directory and the total space for your install should be 3.5 gig (roughly).

Take a look at the file sizes. There's no way they found a way to compress 3.5G worth of JtL into 1.7G of SWG (and still have all of the SWG content int here as well).

I'm pretty sure axing JtL would murder the game.
