Why? WHY? Why did Pete Carrol not punt on 4th & 5 with 2 minutes on the clock in MID FIELD?!

It's one thing for Dick Vermeil to say "I have enough confidence in my (NFL pro) offense to get 1 yard." and go for it on 4th & 1 (and make it), but what kind of magic oatmeal was Pete Carrol chewing when he figured to go 5 yards on 4th down and risk the mid-field to a team with 2 timeouts, 2 mins to play, AND has already scored 35 points on you so far?

All I have to say is YAY! for stupidity.

All I can say is thank god it wasn't my team.

Neither team holds any personal allegiance for me....but the game That's just not how the game should be played. The football spirits weep tonight.
