I think they may have already done some tinkering with it today because I was already noticing better lag... er, performance, today. Got to log on earlier without lag.

1. that's always smart to turn off your firewalls...

2. That's always nice to turn off all the pretty stuff so the game can look crappy, but hey, it's playable
