Holocron continuity database

The Holocron continuity database is the database used internally by Lucas Licensing to keep track of all of the fictional elements created for the Star Wars universe, and contains elements from nearly every officially sanctioned Star Wars source.

In retrospect after seeing what George did in Episodes I-III, I can honestly say I have no interest in more movies. The background story to Star Wars was either:

1) Not engaging.
2) Engaging but not filmed right.

Since I am no movie critic I can't decide which is appropriate. Now that I am off topic, I will stop right here. Sorry.

And am i the only person that liked episodes one and 2 alot ? I know most everyone likes three but i here ppl complain a ton about 1 and 2. I loved them and found them to be amazing films imo. Guess i don't expect as much but it was exactly what i was looking for.

I'm with you on Ep. 1, bro. It was a little corny, but I'm ok with that. Seeing the big-bad as a kid was a complete turn-around, and the film was exciting and fun. Ep. 2 lost me with the directing choices and edits. Dialogue was almost as bad as 3.

I'll stick with the original 3, whenever possible, though.

I can honestly say I enjoyed Ep1 mainly because I can remember seeing it for the first time and thinking "Wow, so this is how badass Jedi were supposed to be." during the escape from the TF in the beginning. The pod race was too long imo. Ep2 was building more on the love story, which while I wasn't really into it I understood the need for it. The last 45 minutes were the bomb. Overall I'd say I enjoyed all three.

I'm hoping one of these days they will have the technology to use CGI to fix the Obi Wan/Vader duel in Ep4. That duel has always bothered me and I just want them to fix the sequence where Obi Wan's saber looks like a wire with a blue christmas light on the end of it. :)

I loved all 3 of the new movies, the first time I saw the lightsaber battles in Ep 1 my jaw dropped, thats how it was supposed to be, no slow motion hack and slash. The speed of the fights were great.

I was dissapointed. The fight scenes are the only things I watch now. I really can't stand the pod racing garbage, and the dialog for most of the movies is terrible. Granted the old movies were not awesome in the dialog dept. but they at least made sense.

lets take actors that can act circles around other people, beat them to a bloody pulp, and restrict them to terrible lines, and force them to humiliate themselves. NOT COOL.

Those actors are the best in the business, that was terrible writing.

Anakin and Obi before the saber duel, say the most terrible lines ever, it's only at the very end, where Ewan speaks his lines to Anakin, that we see any half decent lines with acting to back them. George Lucas doesn't know how to use talent, or write a decent story. He needs to make Ewok adventure movies, and leave the real stuff to someone with some vision and skill. He had good concepts in the beggining, but we don't need to praise him for trying to ride it out for more money.

I might agree with the dialog....thru all 6 movies, but I disagree with the comments on the story, taking all 6 movies together it was IMHO a very good story and all tied together nicely in Ep3, nobody has every told a story (to my limited knowledge) out of order like that, and I think he pulled it off quite well. Just my opinion tho...
