Some Random Chili

Okay, I haven't posted a recipie for awhile, so here's one. It's really easy, and basic...I haven't looked at a lot of chili recipies but I'm guessing it's similar. I just sort of learned this one from my mom. (It's that plain and simple.)
Ingredients:
--Cans of beans (suggested for a large pot: 2 cans of black beans, 2 cans of red beans. You can adjust for one person or two...this is probably a six person recipie).
--A can of diced tomatoes with chilis in it.
--A can of whole, peeled tomatoes.
--A small can of tomato paste.
--A can of tomato puree -OR- a can of diced tomatoes, depending on your tomato preferences (me personally, I go for puree).
--Spices (suggested: chili powder, cumin, crushed red peppers [that stuff you shake on pizza], salt).
--Ground beef, rendered [fried] and drained (2 lbs or 1 lb depending on preference or how much you're making).
--Optional: a little bit of frozen corn giblets.
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a big friggin' pot. When it comes to the whole, peeled tomatoes, either squash them up with your hands or blend them up in a blender (depending on how chunky you like your chili or how lazy you are that day). Season with the spices to taste--just my suggestion is to use more cumin than anything else and BE CAREFUL with the crushed red peppers. They'll blow your mouth up.
Heat it and cook it down a bit...then serve. Garnish with what you like--we usually use sour cream, saltines, and sometimes cheddar cheese.
I made a pot of this today but used WAY too much crushed pepper...it's a pot of FIRE. Dad didn't say anything but just kept putting more crackers into his bowl. I was blowing my nose every five seconds. YUM. It was good though.
