State of S&V

So, what do we want to do about the gap in events every other Sunday? Should S&V be weekly? Should any other changes be made to S&V?

Well, what is everyone interested in doing?

The face of S and V has changed a lot even since I've joined. It went from basically a Jabba's Palace gathering into an Imperial Controlled event to a Force User controlled event.

Bi-weekly still works. Or... we can push a new venue. Most gamers (Non-RP gamers too) seem to be hitting up Mensix Mining Outpost on Mustafar or Kashyyyk for the most part. Might not be a horrible idea to change location every other-other week (did I say that right?).

Keep S and V. Alternate between Musty and Kashyyyk the other two weeks unless CM is running an event? That'd be what I'd go with. I think a few of you had this idea as well. Just saying what a few of you were thinking.

The Kreetles are discussing touring on the off-S&V weeks. Mustafar 'tina and the Kashyyyk 'tina were the first ones on our hit-list.

We might be able to combine the two concepts, and hopefully have some more criminals and adventurers in attendance.

I think moving S&V and keeping it lively and interesting is a great idea. The Mensix and Kashyyk ideas were good, is there another spot which might be out of the ordinary, but all inclusive?

I think Scum & Villainy is a good event, and I think the increased IOJ invlovement will make it even better. Bi weekly is still good I think but like Iago said we were talking about doing something on Mustufar or Kashyyk as a nice venue change of pace for nights when we have nothing planned.

yeah moving it to kashyyk or mensix seems a little pointless because not all the people have musty or kash maybe to other cities around coronet or theed or something

I am not talking about Scum & Villainy being moved anywhere in my post. I too think its fine in the Despot and would only move it if there was a server issue like that one night we had it at Nym's. We were just talking about playing in the Mustufarian cantina or better yet (my opinion) in playing on Kashyyk on non-S&V nights. I like seeing other locations
but have no interest in seeing Scum and Villainy relocated.

We moved S&V to Nym's once or twice, already. People seemed to have a lot of fun and the RP was stronger than it'd been for a while. It's picked up at the Despot, recently, so I think we're doin' well there.

New plan/idea/whatever:

-EVERY Newb has to do Jabba's theme park, now, as part of the Legacy quest.

-We've been trying to do this for over a year.

-If you haven't done Jabba's theme park, it's simple and has a good story behind it. Get off your lazy butt and finish it in a few hours.

-With all the new players passing through there, we might snag a few for some RP.

-The Kreetles have a great rappor with Max Rebo's band. If you made it to the Ryloth Ryll Den, last month, you saw us sharing a stage. (Thanks Degwin)

-This is a suggestion to fill the void of Casino Night, so we wouldn't be leaving the Despot, just visiting the big slug.

-Someone give me some negatives (that don't involve "I'm too lazy to do a theme park")

S and V night extended... I like the idea.

So... a line up could look like this?

Lucky Despot (1st weekend)
Jabba's (2nd weekend)
LD (3rd weekend)
Nym's (4th weekend)
Back to LD (5th weekend)
Maybe switch it up with other Scummy places each month?

I still think we can throw in Kashyyyk and Mustafar at some point in the lineup. We can't cater to everyone, or we'll be avoiding Eisley on the weeks where "The Imperial NPCs are too haarrrd and I don't wanna go all the way to a recruiter or die."

No offense, Mayth. You make great security, but we gotta throw a little spice in the mix, and there are only so many indoor venues.
