Yep...I almost bought the ESB Luke one at GenCon this weekend, but managed to stay strong and not buy it (even though I had to listen to Seret goad me on every time we passed their booth). They're really nice.

Ok so I won't buy one myself, too much denero.
But take a look at what else that company, Master Replicas, makes that I REALLY want.

Note: I moved this to the Star Wars General forum because.....well.... its about Star Wars swag.

Looks really nice but $500! Day-um!
Another $100 and you could buy an old British Sten submachine-gun slap the Star Wars do-hickeys on it and have something really slick.

Actually, I bought a non-firing Sten gun a few months back (WWII is my other passion) for $75. So, you could actually make one yourself for really cheap. I think there's a website somewhere that tells you how to do it step by step.

Hmm, *mouth watering now*
I've seen the old "Broom Handle" Mauser pistols (the base for Han Solo's DL-44) on sale for $75-$100. I wouldn't mind modding that one too for looks.
That DL-44 is just one sexy pistol.

WWII huh... we REALLY need to talk =)
I have often thought of buying and old sten and modding it. I have seen them at numerous gun shows.

My friend Justin has an EL blade, by Parks Sabres. It's really nifty but they eat batteries like nuts. And when he wears his Sith outfit, and clips it to his belt, you oughta see the bruise it leaves on his thigh from thumping around. Those things are some kind of heavy.
Also, my SW fan club has like a whole slew of us with non-functioning sabres made from pvc pipe and all manner of plumbing appliances. They look really awesome, and they're not too hard to make if you've got a friend with a Dremel.
BTW, if you didn't know the old lightsabers were made with this particular kind of hand-held flash. I think my parents have one in their closet, and I've been trying to get them to give it to me for years. Want want want.

Anyone know the planet in Star Wars named after a WW2 German General?
I'm sorry I really tried not to derail, but I'm an even bigger WW2 nut than I am for Star Wars. And it's hard to not derail "cold turkey". I have cut down, really I have...

There was also a German General named Herbert Loch, which is pronounced "Lok" but Lok wasn't in the movies so who cares.

Here you go,
What was the name of the band that recorded the disco version of the Star Wars theme in 1977?
