SCUM AND VILLAINY NIGHT

The Kreetles will be jamming at the Lucky Despot in Mos Eisley! Musicians and dancers are welcome to come jam with us. The dress is "skimpy" or "work-out"...for the entertainers.

For the innocent - and not so innocent - bystanders, the dress code is grimey, dusty or in-disguise.

Note: This is a role-playing event.

date: February 12
time: 9:00 EST, USA

Especially if it is coffee or tea, then the lag gives you time for bio breaks.

I am at a point where I have accepted that STO is almost guaranteed to disappoint. It could be an FPS that is done very well, it also might not be. I am done with gaming in general due to the lack of motivation to play with the current status quo (WoW, SWG, anything else). I doubt I'll be back in the MMO universe like I was for a very long time.

Before Seret introduced me to SWG, I had quit gaming for a good 10 years. I didn't like the direction 3D gaming had gone and could not derive fun from the newer titles, being an old-school NES/SNES gamer. That was until I played preCU SWG.

At that point I bought a new PC and got acquainted with the new age of gaming. The MMO idea was cool and it taught me a lot. I got to see a great community rise and fall. I learned a lot about myself (good and bad) and other people being here. But the good times that kept me here have come and gone. I log in 2-3 times a week to look around for a bit, fly in space and then log again. Sometimes I am not even motivated to move my toon outside the house and I just log out wondering why I logged in.

The magic is gone, I think it slowly left with each cancelled account.

If it takes another 10 years before I find something I like - so be it. If they never make another game that I like again - so be it. Right now I am just happy that this forum was, in general, a great place while it lasted.

Ok - back on topic.
