Great concept combo. Hopefully, it will be re-scheduled.

The Fashion Show/Date Auction ('FashAuction' ) was able to happen, on time, even!

AND IT WAS GREAT!

It was on the roof of the Mos Doba Theater.

Man, I can barely explain how much fun there is to have on this server. There was alot of Role Play, (with subtext from the past, lol) between the characters. About 25 players showed up, including the 5-6 hosts.

Everyone that showed up lent great atmosphere. The link I posted showed the details, but some really cool side-things were auctioned off, too. Each model included their crafting wares or hunt-looted resources as part of the deal. Each attendee was given a gift bag from the main sponsor of the event, 'JA-WA Junk' Droid Makers, run by Kezz'itch (Comanche on Discord).

Kezz'itch is the guy who RP's as a Jawa, using a Bothan character with a hood. He communicates, either through a droid, or a handheld translator. It's a really cool thing to see done.

As for the Fashion Show, Jiljoo'Fenn has some sharp outfits set to go, and is stocked well. There were 6 models of 5 different races, including an Ithorian (Astro the Shipwright).

I counted about 12 million credits in winning bids from the auction winners. Straight up, it was like a real, jaw-dropping, audience gasping auction. Alot of competition bidding.

It's great to see. A community that rewards RP and makes it as fun, if not more, than any PvE, PvP, Space, etc. Capturing the spirit of the SWG design. Player-created content.

That is fantastic to hear!! Once I get over the hump getting some programming done, I will be in-game much more.
