...change my user profile?
You can click here or on the dropdown at the top right of the site and select "User Control Panel". There are various tabs to change your information and the behavior of the site.


...post a calendar event?
You can create a new post in the Events and Activities forum. When creating a new post use the "Add event" tab at the bottom. It will insert the correct bbcode to create the event and from there you can edit the text inside the post with a brief description. Brevity is good as there is limited space on the home page for each event.

When an event is within 8 days of starting it will appear at the top of the SWG Tales front page with other events that are imminent.


...add a waypoint?
The forum has an SWG waypoint helper that allows you to add a waypoint to posts and calendar events. Use the "Add waypoint" tab under the post editor to insert a waypoint. When someone clicks on a waypoint it copies it for them so they can paste it in game. Waypoints can be added inside of calendar events also, and we encourage you to do so.


...write about an event, holonet information, or anything else?
Use the Stories and Plots forum. Once a moderator approves your post, it will appear on SWG Tales within an hour.


...add information about people, places and things in game?
You can post profiles in the appropriate forum under Galactic Library. Keep in mind we are not feature complete in this area yet, so it will not show up on the front page of the site at this time. But you are free to post in these forums anyway. You will be able to edit your posts later to take advantage of new features as they become available.
