The Hero of Tatooine is Dead

Thats correct.
Big Congrats to Jabe Adaks for actually completings the entire Hero of Tattooine Hermit Quest. I know he ran himself ragged doing it so I figured he deserved some props.
And watching him do this confirms that you DO get a ring that gives you 50 automatic resurrections. The item says it only works once every 23 hours and thats a good thing. That way you don't waste a big chunk of them during one lousy hunt that goes terribly wrong.
So big props, Dead Man. I guess you have to be corpse just to be a hero. Kind of like having to be dead for your art to become famous.
I'll just go back to endlessly searching for a pirate, a moisture farmer and some stupid boar.

Thanks guys... Now if I only had the ring before I died that would have been better timing.

I soooo want to be a Hero of Tatooine. The problem is that as soon as I log in I get sucked into some wierd timewarp that makes accomplishing anything a virtual impossibility. I enjoy slacking a little too much.
Very much like RL..
Nevertheless, CONGRATS!!!

Just out of curosity, do you get badges for completeing the parts other than the main quest? I wouldn't mind having hte mark of intelect etc. Who'd want to be the hero of some backwater world that's the farthest planet from the bright center of the universe?

Laff! No disresect to any who've earned the badge because I've heard how fun and challenging it is from many others.
However, Keer's personality would agree with Nyase. From Keer's RP point of view that badge gets no real estate up in my Character Sheet.
Not hating, but there are only a few badges that I want Keer to have anyway. My whopping total of 10 badges shows it. And except for 1-2 they're all criminal or crime related. The Agrilat Swamp POI, Two Jabba badges, Marauder Hideout, Sarlacc Pit, etc.
Small thing really and maybe a bit snobbish, but "...has seen the waterfall of Bela Vistal" or wherever it is doesn't make me feel hustler-ish.
Apart from that FUN-gratulations, again to y'all.

Exactly! I wish I could dump all those annoying POI badges. Only ones I really want are the Imperial ones. Other than that, I don't care. Obviously the Imperial badge of merit and the Imperial Hero are a must though.

Yes, you get badges and some strange item for completing each quest. It can only be placed in YOUR house, so you know.
But Nyase and Keer have a point. Overall you really can't RP the Hero of Tat quest. You can certainly work the individual quests in. I mean one quest just has you killing an evil boar. I'd sure like to write up a story for that one. Here goes....
While roaming the sands of Tatooine Seret spotted a large razor boar. With one swing of sword he fell the strange beast. From the gapping wound he noticed a glint of something shiny. He peered inside to find a small metal object. Scribed on the object were the words "Sorry you are not a winner. Drink Sprite and play again." He was totally baffled.
The End
See, that was easy.

Seret, Aesop couldn't have written it better. Damned if I can find a moral though.
