Here are some ideas that I don't want to die so I am bringing them up again. I know the Casino opening has many of us distracted, but I hope we can get back to these soon.

- Bringing Jabba to life
- Shuttle Crash on Dathomir
- Bounty Hunter system
- Roleplayers guide to playable races

Is there anything else I am forgetting?

Well as a note I'm currenlty updating the BH guide to republish hopefully today. I'd been away on Business until yesterday and just hadn't had a chance to work on it. So hopefully we can tie that up shortly. I don't think I'd heard much about any of the other ideas though, I'm extremely interested in hearing about them.

I'm working on a template for playable races with ideas from the Zanman. Anything you folks know or have PLEASE send them to me by e-mail.

I should note that if you are sending something about player races and it comes from a RP sourcebook, SW video game or other such source please site the source so I can do the same in the guides. I want to be fair and give credit were credit is due.

If you are creative and want to come up with something about player races that we can all use please post it in a new thread I'll be making so we can all discuss and agree on it.

Don't be afraid to create something for your race or any other playable race. It could be fun and we could all use it if its reasonable and not too far fetched.

Explanation of topics:

- Bringing Jabba to life is just an RP thing. We intended to have "Jabba" mess with people, extort money, hire bounty hunters, etc. Right now he is a static implementation. We would surround him with RP to bring him to life as it were. Perhaps even have someone play his right-hand man. Ex: If "Jabba" wants to muscle in on Zancorp's profits, his right-hand man hires some thugs to get his attention.

- Shuttle Crash on Dathomir is an RP survival game. We would pick a spot on Dath, stash all vehicles, and try to make our way back using teamwork. No buffs would be allowed.

I vote that you include Ekades comments about player races from the another thread, something about Rodians never getting the girl, self confidance issue. It's right on the money. Frankly it should have been in the instruction manual. It should have said, "If you're a shy person, a Rodian maybe the race for you. Do you like spankings? Then Zarbak would be perfect!" I think it's a great way to help getting you started in RP.

LOL.. right, like there could be a little Ekade in a footer section of each page. "Ekade says: If you like to spank people.. then Zabrak is for you!" *thumbs-up, wink*

I like the Jabba idea a lot. That's good stuff. What would be better is to start a small RP town out there run by his "right hand man" and he passes the law down from Jabba. Sort of like a MERCS guild where it's his henchmen. Yeah is there a post on this already I could read? Does anyone have a link?

It would be great if, when you flipped the pages, Ekade did a little dance or something too..

I am a MERCS and I am no henchman I work for myself. So donot concider us all thugs and whatnot.

What about a Role Players 101 course?

Cover such things as; staying in character, how to build a better character, things that can add personality, creating motivations to guide how you play your avatar, how to RP cloning, why the heck do people talk in parentheses....

Already done, but when its live you're welcome to offer suggestions to add to it. This was actually the first thing I put together for content on the Datafiles section of the site. Its not really a guide or rules to roleplaying, just suggestions and tips to help enhance RP.
