Bad: Greedo still shoots first. Anakin replaced with Hayden at end.
Good: No more cheerleader scream when Luke jumps. Ugly-assed CG Jabba fixed.
Meh: Naboo's celebration scene. Who. CARES. People still swallowing that the Han/Jabba scene even needs to be there in the first place.

Oh the pain!!!! They really did it! They really put Haden in the end of ROTJ!! Oh the pain... Someone please shoot me, or slap me and tell it was all a bad dream. The pain....
They could have at least added Luke looking back at Haden and saying "Who the f--- are you!?"

Why must he mess with a good thing?!?! Doesn't he know if it's not broken don't fix it! Are these DVD's going to have the option to watch the original versions before all of this crap was added? Maybe missed that, I got so upset with the Anakin thing I couldn't bare to read further.

Didn't you hear? They spliced in Ewan's face over all the Sir Alec scenes too. That bastard Lucas.

I hope you're joking dude!
If not that is a total outrage I can't believe he would discredit someone's acting by covering up that they were even the actor that played the part.
That is crap, All crap!

Dooo is totally kidding...Alec is and will always be Obi-Wan. As usual, the Digital Bits did a very good review and I am excited about seeing these movies cleaned up and in 5.1 Dolby...

If you think about it Obi-Wan is one of the only things they did RIGHT in Episodes I and II. You can't say Ewan McGregor wasn't a perfect Obi-Wan and a homage to Sir Alec. He nailed the character's younger self better than I could of imagined.

Honestly I wanted more out of Obi-Wan that we got.
In episode 4 they referred to Obi-Wan as a great general in the clone wars. Before the garbage prequels came out, I was expecting to see some of this heroic figure in action.
Instead we got some rather sterile acting in a very weak story. :|

Perhaps, but I lean more to Seret's point of view on this one. I really liked the look and the feel he gives the young Obi-Wan. If the clone wars are reflected in Ep 3 then it's make or break time to make him legendary as he should be.
I still can't believe they would splice in Hayden (cute as he may be) in place of Anakin at the end of Ep 6. The DVDs are already on pre-order and I know the lights will be low, the speakers will be up high, and the 65 inch screen will be at the highest! 8-)

But this is entirely due to Ewan McGregor and not to any direction Lucas supplied. They say Ewan actually studied Sir Alec like crazy to nail the role.

Oh absolutely. Don't think I'd put any stock in Lucas's directing talent.

From watching him in numerous roles I would say he is one of the better actors out their today. I mean you couldn't even tell he was british in Black Hawk Down. I had to argue with multiple people that he was even in the movie. He seems to form fit whatever role he is given and become that person.

I agree that Ewan did a very good job playing a younger Obi-Wan, and hopefully we will see him earn his heroic status in EP. III. Everything I have read says the story heavily revolves around Anakin and Obi-Wan.
