Thought I'd have a little fun with names today. Here's goes the stretch.

An easy one is my own name. Most people know my name is that of an ancient Egyptian Pharoah which means "Dark Warrior." Fits well I think.

But lets have some fun with other people's names, but NOT make fun of them.

Lets try..... Hashum.

Hash is the short version of Hashish. Now I'm not saying he's a pothead but that does connect to the word Assasin.

During the crusades a particulary bloody and vicious band of Arabic warriors were known to get pretty high on Hashish before going out and assassinating leaders of oppossing sects. Because of this they were known as the Hashishiyyin, or "Hashish Warriors." Eventually the word was shortened to Hassasins and evetually evolved into Assassin.

So now you know 2 things...
1. Hashum has a very true MERC name
2. Seret knows a lot of useless facts that he will dump on you from time to time.

Also if I'm not mistaken and my time period could be wrong but Hashum is also in the Bible, and I believe he was one of the 40 strongest men in the Army of King David in the old testament. Again I often confuse names in the bible so he may not have been mentioned until later in the bible such as in the linage of Jesus. But nice information I found that quite interesting. What does Ekade mean?

I have no idea wy I picked my name.. it just kinda sounded cool to me. A little later, I playted KOTOR and saw that there was a Czerka Corporation.. but I did not steal my name from that.

Anyway I never really thought about what my characters names could translate to. I will think on this.

(anyone besides me notice that you can't tell the difference between a second LT and a corporal's rank?)

That's cause you can't see the hats you are wearing. You would have a much smaller funnier looking hat on.

isn't Ceka a female porn star from the late 70's/early 80's?? or was it spelled Seka?? it was one of those ways I remember...
