Are you using random codecs or something? I can't play this and I have just about every codec known to man installed on this machine.


[EDIT]: Okay, it played in Windows Media Player, but not QT, which means it was probably DivX. Thanks for not supporting DivX Apple!

I have to say that was pretty well done. What'd you use to edit it/do crossfades, etc?

this is how it worked:

video with fraps
used VirtualDub to compress to divx
used Intervideo Winproducer I got free with a vid card or mobo
you just drag and drop everything, pick from the tons of fades/wipes etc...
kinda glitchy program since its a resource hog, then output divx as well and voila!

Yeah, I just got the sound with no video.

The song, in and of itself, is kinda lame.

The song is lame but combine it with the video its pretty funny. I especially like the "Playing Fetch with a Rancor" part.

What program do you use to do the video capture from the game? I've been wondering this for a while.

a program called Fraps

the free download has some limitations, but there are earlier full versions floating around

Also (Ekade) if you get sound but no video, you're either attempting to view it in Quicktime (dont', because Apple doesn't support DivX, the codec this was compressed with), or you simply don't have the DivX codec installed.

Just go to www.divx.com, and be sure to only click on the "install DivX codec" link. Don't install the DivX movie viewer, as it's all just a bunch of spyware crap.

That should solve your sound but no video issue.

Eh, I'll have to try it when I get on my laptop. Apparently we don't have the DIVx codecs installed, and I'm being too lazy to look for them on the site.
